Meet Jennifer Vickers - Business Director, 4th family generation ....Carrying on a legacy.
Hi, I am Jen.... Mum of 2, juggling through life with a box of apples in 1 hand and baby Jaxon on the other! True story, when you come and visit us in store, more than likely you will see me being mum and shop keeper at the same time. Jessica is 5 and Jaxon 10 months. When in our leisurely time, me and my husband (Pete), love to take trips out to different beaches, woodlands, and generally go exploring different towns and activities.
The things I am most passionate about after family are health, wellness and fitness. After a 15 year career in retail management within Lidl, Debenham's and Selfridges, I came back to the family business driving the Juice Bar forward and took up Personal Training & Nutrition doing online fitness and group classes locally. This was after having Jessica so that I could work around her routine and manage my own hours.
At the beginning of 2024, I took on the family business full time...had Jaxon in the October and now work hard alongside brother Chris to keep the business moving forward with new initiatives and products to keep current.

A family run greengrocers in 2020 we transformed our former fishmonger counter into a cold - pressed juice bar, bringing a new way to enjoy the quality produce we have always been proud to offer.
With over 100 years selecting the highest quality fruit and vegetable's from our family run greengrocer, we thought no better time to start a high quality raw cold-press juice bar.
Our bespoke handmade bar is set inside our Fruit & Veg store where we have combined our vast knowledge of produce with the Rolls Royce of cold press machine's from Goodnature in New York.
To create our bespoke recipes, we have worked closely with an expert in the field - Ari Sexner, formely top chef at the Bellagio in Las Vegas. Together we have curated Juice with optimum health benefits with great taste.

Peter Waterhouse
Meet Peter, the man behind the market.
Fourth generation greengrocer and grandson of founder John Waterhouse, Peter has been at the heart of the store since the 1950's. Growing up surrounded by fresh produce and a strong sense of village community, Peter has carried the family legacy into modern day, now running today’s modern grocery with a juice bar and frozen yoghurts, Peter is still hands on and full of character, you’ll often find him in store. Pop in and come say hello.

Fourth generation product expert with a no nonsense approach. Son of current owner. Chris carries forward generations of knowledge with a sharp eye for selecting only the finest, high quality produce. Chris is hands on, friendly, straight talking and serious about produce.
